2017 National Geographic Bee
Morgan was the winner this school year. He passed the written test so he now qualifies for the
State Bee. He participated against other students in grades 4-8 on Match 31, 2017.
An 8th grader won. Morgan and his parents enjoyed the day!
2016 National Geographic Bee
Megan was the winner this school year. She passed the written test so she now qualifies for the
State Bee. She participated against 51 other students in grades 4-8 on April 1, 2016.
An 8th grader won. Megan and her parents had a supertime!
2015 National Geographic Bee
Zachary was the winner this school year. He passed the written test so he now qualifies for the
State Bee. He participated against 49 other students in grades 4-8.
A seventh grader won. Zachary and his dad had a great time!
2014 National Geographic Bee
Tyler was the winner this school year. He qualified for the state competition which was held on April 4, 2014.
There were 53 students. An 8th grader won. Tyler had a wonderful time.
The School Bee this year was held on Thursday, December 13, 2012.
Thomas was the winner!
Thomas completed the 70 question written test on Friday, January 11, 2013.
It has been sent to Washington, DC. We now must await the results to see if Thomas makes it into the state finals.

2011 National Geographic Bee
For the 23rd year, the National Geographic Society is holding the National Geographic Bee for students in the fourth through eighth grades in thousands of schools across the United States and in 5 U.S. territories, as well as in Department of Defense Dependents Schools around the world. The 2011 Bee is sponsored by Google.
The winner of the Geographic Bee held at Hope Valley Elementary School on December 3, 2011 was Megan. In order to advance to the next level of the competition, Megan was given a written examination on December 17, 2010. This exam has been mailed to Washington,
